WHAT TO SEE AROUND MAHMUTLAR?

Mahmutlar provides convenient access to attractions in several directions.

Towards Alanya, visitors can explore Alanya Castle, the Red Tower, the historical shipyard, the old harbour, Damlataş Cave, Cleopatra Beach and the Alanya Cable Car.

The ancient city of Syedra is one of the most important archaeological sites close to Mahmutlar. It is located east of Mahmutlar, beyond Kargıcak, on elevated terrain overlooking the Mediterranean coast.

There is no convenient direct public transport to the archaeological site itself. Because Syedra is situated above the main coastal road, walking to the site is not a practical option for most visitors, particularly during the hot summer months.

DIM RIVER AND DIM CAVE

Mahmutlar is also conveniently located for visiting the Dim River and Dim Cave.

HOW CAN I GET FROM MAHMUTLAR TO THE SEA ALANYA DOLPHIN SHOW BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

It is possible to travel from Mahmutlar to Sea Alanya by public transport. First, travel from Mahmutlar to the Cuma Pazarı area in central Alanya. From there, change to public transport travelling towards Avsallar and continue to the Türkler area.

Sea Alanya is located in Türkler along the main D400 road. After getting off near Sea Alanya, keep in mind that the complex is on the opposite side of the main road, so you will need to reach the other side.

Travelling from Mahmutlar to Sea Alanya by public transport therefore requires two separate public transport connections. The same journey must be made in reverse to return to your hotel. Families travelling with children should take the transfer between vehicles, crossing to the other side of the main road and the return journey into consideration.
