The Alanya City Tour is a full-day sightseeing experience for visitors who want to discover much more than Alanya's beaches. In one day, the tour combines some of the city's best-known historical landmarks, natural attractions and coastal scenery, from Alanya Castle and the Red Tower to Damlatas Cave and the Dim River.
The itinerary includes the Alanya Cable Car, Alanya Castle, Damlatas Cave, Red Tower and Alanya Harbour, an approximately 1-hour boat trip, free time around the harbour and bazaar, lunch by the Dim River and a visit to a banana plantation.
With sightseeing both on land and from the sea, this tour is particularly suitable for first-time visitors who want to see the highlights of Alanya without organising each attraction separately.
ALANYA CABLE CAR & ALANYA CASTLE
One of the highlights of the Alanya sightseeing tour is the Alanya Cable Car, which takes you from the Kleopatra Beach area up towards Alanya Castle.
During the cable car ride, you can enjoy panoramic views over Kleopatra Beach, the Mediterranean Sea and the Alanya coastline.
At the castle area, you will have approximately 1 hour of free time to explore the surroundings, enjoy the views and take photos.
Standing high above the city on the historic peninsula, Alanya Castle has been home to different civilisations over the centuries and remains one of Alanya's most recognisable historical landmarks.
DAMLATAS CAVE
Located below Alanya Castle and close to Kleopatra Beach, Damlatas Cave is one of the natural attractions included in the itinerary.
The cave is famous for its stalactites and stalagmites, which formed over thousands of years, and it remains one of the most visited natural sights in Alanya.
The Damlatas Cave entrance ticket is not included in the tour price. Guests who would like to enter the cave can purchase their ticket separately.
RED TOWER, HISTORIC SHIPYARD & ALANYA HARBOUR
The Red Tower (Kızıl Kule) is one of Alanya's most famous landmarks. Built during the Seljuk period in the 13th century, it stands beside Alanya Harbour and close to the historic Seljuk Shipyard.
During your free time in the harbour area, you can see the Red Tower and the historic shipyard area, walk around Alanya Harbour or spend some time exploring the nearby bazaar.
Together with Alanya Castle, the Red Tower forms an important part of the city's historic skyline, allowing you to see two of Alanya's best-known landmarks during the same tour.
1-HOUR BOAT TRIP IN ALANYA
The Alanya City Tour also includes an approximately 1-hour boat trip from Alanya Harbour.
This short cruise gives you the opportunity to see the Alanya Castle peninsula, coastline and Mediterranean scenery from the sea, offering a completely different perspective of the city.
Unlike a full-day Alanya boat tour, this is a shorter sightseeing cruise included as part of the city tour itinerary.
FREE TIME AT ALANYA HARBOUR & BAZAAR
You will also have free time around Alanya Harbour and the bazaar area.
You can use this time as you wish — walk around the city centre, explore the harbour, browse local shops or simply relax at a café before continuing the tour.
LUNCH AT DIM RIVER
After exploring central Alanya, the tour continues to the Dim River (Dim Çayı), one of the best-known natural areas around the city.
Lunch is included and served in a restaurant beside the river. The cooler riverside setting also offers a pleasant break from the heat, particularly during the summer months.
BANANA PLANTATION VISIT
Alanya's warm Mediterranean climate makes the region one of Türkiye's best-known banana-growing areas.
During the banana plantation visit, you will have the opportunity to see local banana plants and learn more about one of the agricultural products closely associated with Alanya and its surroundings.
